Design agility, with structural integrity.
Whether flat or curved, vertical or overhead, the system maintains aesthetic continuity and structural performance across a project.
Creative freedom
Work beyond stretcher bonds and flat facades: soldier courses, basketweave, random-length layouts and transitions between vertical and horizontal orientations.
Dimensional versatility
Rails and brick coursing adapt for different face heights, varied lengths and finishes, supporting everything from heritage detailing to minimalist contemporary facades.
Advanced geometry
Custom-cut rail profiles enable true mechanical brick facings on concave and convex surfaces, without the cost or complication of moulded bricks or brick slips.
Overhead applications
Engineered for soffits and undercrofts, where traditional masonry would need extra structural framing or pose a safety risk during installation.
Prefabrication compatibility
Ideal for modular and offsite construction. Nexbrick can be pre-installed on light gauge steel, timber or cassette panels in factory conditions.
Material and colour independence
Compatible with a broad range of kiln-fired clay bricks from leading Australian and international manufacturers, free of proprietary cladding restrictions.
From flat walls to full curves.
Flat facades
A full range of conventional coursing: stretcher, stack, header and soldier bonds, with customisable joint widths, corner returns, face-set edges and recessed panels, without shelf angles, wire ties or structural backing.
Curved walls
Precision laser-cut rail profiles accommodate concave and convex geometries with consistent coursing. Custom rail arcs are pre-cut to project-specific radii, with no form liners, precast moulds or specialty-curved bricks.
Soffits and undersides
Mechanically fixed to overhead framing for soffits, canopies and undercrofts. Unlike mesh or adhesive systems, facings are anchored through mechanical engagement alone for reliable, low-maintenance performance.
Expressive bond patterns
Vertical stack, basketweave, Flemish or mixed coursing, random-length or multi-height modules. Bricks can be rotated within the rail for vertical, diagonal or soldier orientations without structural reinforcement.
Material and colour
Match site context or heritage requirements with locally sourced brick. Mix textures, smooth, wirecut, glazed and handmade, in the same elevation, with custom corners, sill returns and deep reveals.
Panelisation for modular
Factory-install rails and facings on LGS, timber or cassette wall systems. Compatible with Truecore® steel and certified timber frames, ideal for high-speed, repeatable, transportable assemblies.
We help you take it from intent to detail.
In-house design and drafting support helps move from architectural intent to a buildable facade: brick facing setout, rail layout, corner and curve detailing, soffit setout, prefab module planning, shop drawings and mock-up coordination.
The technical manual covers components, standard rail profiles, brick facing formats and standard details for specification.
- Mechanically fixed, ventilated rainscreen system
- Real 25mm kiln-fired clay brick facings (230 x 76 x 25mm)
- Roll-formed BlueScope ZINCALUME® steel rail (stainless option)
- Typical installed facade mass approximately 52 kg/m²
- Full-scale tested to AS/NZS 4284, serviceability ±1.8 kPa
